Project 365

January 12, 2015

Well hello again! I'm back from my much needed break over Christmas and New Year feeling recharged, filled to the brim with new ideas and projects for Dib-Dab-Debs in 2015. I hope you all had a wonderful festive period and that you'll enjoy what I've got planned!

Anyway, in true Debi style on the third of January I decided that I would attempt the 365 Photo Challenge for 2015 in place of my Monday Musings posts of 2014. That's right folks, you heard me correctly, I've decided to start this project on the third day of the year. Not the first like any normal person would do. Not even half way through the year or on a significant date. Oh no, the third. Good going Debi.

Let's just get started...

3/1/15: This is always a sad day in January - putting away the Christmas decorations.

4/1/15: Reading - and now finished - The Good Girl (review pending)

photo Jan5.jpg 5/1/15: Roxie in her new bed with her teddy which is just too cute for words if you ask me.

6/1/15: We got a new laptop with the remainder of the husband's casino winnings from his work night out. We also got new flooring for our bathroom with that money - score!

7/1/15: Taking a break with a few cool mint Matchmakers and a cup of coffee.

photo Jan8.jpg 8/1/15: Trying out some new nail polishes I got for Christmas. Nails Inc in Victoria.

photo Jan9.jpg9/1/15: Ready for a wet and windy night of watching rugby. Fortunately, we won so sitting in the rain wasn't all for nothing!

photo Jan10.jpg 10/1/15: Good hair, good make-up and the Deathly Hallows. Good mood, good day!

 photo Jan11.jpg
11/1/15: A Sunday afternoon trying a new game, Love Letter, and then playing some good old Dominion.

My camera broke half way through doing this and I had to resort back to using my old one so if the quality in some of the photos looks a bit pants that's why. I don't have the money to buy a new camera so I'm just going to have to make do for the time being and hope that my editing skills can sort out the issues with exposure and white balance.

  1. Are you taking photos on your floor... ;) I spot what looks like some wooden flooring!

My decorations are still up... We're taking them down tomorrow as Wednesday is tree recycling day.

    Welcome back pretty faced lady!

    1. Haha. Nah, that's my table. We have old granny carpets that we've never replaced since moving in. I try to avoid having that in my pictures! Haha.
Our decorations always come down just after new year before Kami goes back to work. It kinda sucks but at the same time I'm always glad for a fresh start.

  2. Woo glad you had a nice break!! You look lovely in your picture, I love your hair! Roxie looks super cute as well, glad she likes her new bed :) x

    1. Aww, thank you. I'm actually thinking of cutting my hair a little shorter again - more long bob as it's already starting to feel too long! Roxie adores her new bed. I can barely get her out of it. That is unless there's food about! Haha.

  3. Yey for joining in the 365 day photo challenge, I've been working on mine since October, I always forget about sharing the days on my blog but instagram has it's uses for that at least. Roxie looks very happy with her new bed!

    1. I tried the 365 day photo challenge back in 2010 before I even knew it was a thing people did! I only lasted three months back then but I didn't have a blog for somewhere to put them all. I hope that will help to keep me motivated. I also hope that my photos don't become super repetitive and boring either!
